The basic tasks of the Protection & Repatriation Department are based on a number of contracts with the Ministry of Integration and the Immigration Service on: Legal counselling for asylum seekers, repatriation counselling for refugees and migrants, counselling of au pair persons, participation in the so-called manifestly unfounded procedure, participation in resettlement missions and production of information material and documentation relating to asylum issues.

Besides the basic tasks the Protection & Repatriation Department is DRC's advocate on refugee and migrant rights. Additionally we implement projects which will develop our expertise further to the benefit of the target groups.
